Bangladesh Women’s Under-19 cricket team bagged their second consecutive victory in the U-19 tri-nation Twenty20 series when they beat Pakistan U-19 by 36 runs in Cox’s Bazar Saturday.
Batting first, the young Tigresses posted 136 losing four wickets, captain Sumaiya Akter top-scoring with 32 and Arbin Toni chipping in with 31.
In reply, Pakistan managed 100 for the loss of seven wickets in the face of some disciplined bowling by the home side.
Afia Asima Era bagged two wickets while Faria Akter and player of the match Rabeya Khan took one each.
The hosts began their campaign by beating Sri Lanka U-19 before the second game between Pakistan U-19 and Sri Lanka U-19 was washed out.
