2020 Under-19 World Cup champions Bangladesh have been drawn in Group A alongside record five-time winners India, Ireland and the USA ahead of the 15th edition of the tournament, scheduled to be hosted by South Africa from January 19-February 11, 2024.
The young Tigers will open their campaign against neighbors India on January 20 before facing Ireland and the USA on January 22 and 26 respectively with all the Pool A matches taking place in Bloemfontein.
The International Cricket Council revealed the schedule for the 16-team event Monday, with five venues across South Africa to host a total of 41 games over more than three weeks.
Group B comprises England, South Africa, the West Indies and Scotland, Group C consists of three-time champions Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Namibia, while Group D features Afghanistan, two-time winners Pakistan, New Zealand and Nepal.
The top three sides from each group advance to the Super Six phase of the event ahead of the semi-finals and final in Benoni.
All teams will contest two warm-up fixtures in South Africa between January 13-17.
