Mehedi Hasan Miraz inspired Bangladesh to a historic second ODI series victory over visitors India at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Wednesday.
Defending 271 runs, the game went down to the last ball of the India chase.
Rohit Sharma with an injured thumb needed to hit a six.
However, left-arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman denied the Indian captain from the mission as the bowler fired a yorker and gave no room to swing the bat.
The Bangladesh dugout and the players in the middle broke into celebrations along with the packed stands at the home of cricket in Mirpur.
Bangladesh won the game by five runs, and the series with a game to spare.
This was Bangladesh's seventh win in the format against India, and first series victory against the neighbors since 2015.
Bangladesh with one eye on the series win opted to bat first after winning the toss.
However, the decision backfired as the side reeled to 69 for six inside 19 overs.

The situation once again put light on Bangladesh's top-order failure as hopes and expectations of putting up a decent total on the board had all but evaporated.
But Miraz was in his zone.
The right-handed batter was Bangladesh's key behind the one-wicket victory after another batting failure and he repeated the heroics by posting his maiden century in the format with support from veteran Mahmudullah and tail-ender Nasum Ahmed.
The duo posted 148 off 165, the second highest runs for the seventh wicket and the highest against India, to boost Bangladesh to a defendable total on the slow and low wicket at SBNCS.
Mahmudullah numbed his critics scoring 77 off 96 before perishing in the 47th over to Umran Malik.
The dismissal however, did not hold back the Bangladesh score as Miraz this time alongside Nasum pulled up an unbroken 54-run stand off just 23 deliveries.
Nasum hammered 18 off 11 while Miraz reached his century in the last over of the innings and remained unbeaten on 100.
The 83-ball innings was laced with eight boundaries and four over boundaries.
Miraz with the feat immerged as the fourth Bangladeshi to score a century in the format against India after Mushfiqur Rahim, Alop Kapali and Liton Das.

Bangladesh bowlers later were on point as they removed four India wickets quickly to leave them on 65 inside 19 overs.
Right-arm pacer Ebadot Hossain got Bangladesh the first wicket of Virat Kohli [five] in the second over, while six deliveries later, Mustafizur removed Shikhar Dhawan.
Shakib al Hasan and Miraz removed Washington Sundar and KL Rahul respectively but Axar Patel and Shreyas Iyer recovered the damage with 107-run stand for the fifth wicket before man of the moment Miraz removed Iyer on 82 in the 35th over.
Two overs later, Ebadot bagged his second wicket of the game as he removed Axar on 56.
India lost their seventh wicket on 207 in 42.4 overs after Shakib got rid of Shadrul Thakur [seven]. This saw India captain Rohit arrive to the middle with his left-arm wrapped with bandage.
The batter had gone out of the field with a bloodied hand early in Bangladesh's innings, trying to catch Anamul Haque at the slip cordon off Mohammed Siraj in the fourth ball of the second over.
The medical assessment revealed that there was no fracture and Rohit with the finger wrapped with protection went out to save his team.
His unbeaten 51 off just 28 deliveries, amid two dropped catches in the second last over of the chase, however, went in vain.
Rohit's innings involved three sixes in the innings which lifted him as the first Indian, and just the second batter to hit 500 sixes in international cricket after Chris Gayle.
Bangladesh will now eye a rare series whitewash against India when they lock horns in Chittagong's Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium this Saturday.
