Like the Sydney Cricket Ground, this is the first time Bangladesh will play a match at the Gabba.
The Gabba wickets usually have good pace and bounce and it helps the bowlers initially but batsmen can also score runs as the ball comes to the bat nicely.
So far six T20I matches have been played at the Gabba and the team batting first have won on four occasions.
The average first innings total here is 168 and in second innings it is 145.
Bangladesh made one change in their starting XI as spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz replaced Yasir Rabbi against South Africa.
But against Zimbabwe, Yasir could join the playing XI again to add batting strength.
Bangladesh technical consultant Sridharan Sriram expects a high-scoring game Sunday at the Gabba, “The wicket looks like a typical Gabba wicket. It'll have good pace, bounce and carry. Maybe a little bit of initial movement early on, but I think a very good batting wicket, fast outfield, value for shots. You get value for shots here. It'll be a good game, a high-scoring, 160, 170 kind of game.”
