New Zealand cricket team are scheduled to reach Dhaka Tuesday to play hosts Bangladesh in the five-match T20I series.
The series is set to start from September 1.
The New Zealand squad will set foot in the capital in the afternoon travelling on a commercial flight and following quick completion of formalities at the airport, the tourists will be taken to the team hotel where they will be in a three-day mandatory room quarantine.
Following the quarantine and couple of Covid-19 tests, the visitors will be allowed to get down to business in their first training at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Friday.
Bangladesh Cricket Board has ensured that the New Zealand team will get hospitality and Covid-19 protocol similar to that was in place for Australia cricket team earlier this month.
Australia had reached Dhaka on July 29 and played a five-T20I series against Bangladesh between August 3 to 9.
Two members of the squad, Finn Allen and Colin de Grandhomme have already arrived in Dhaka last Friday.

The duo had travelled from England after taking part in The Hundred.
Members of the Bangladesh team have started reporting to the hotel in groups.
A few checked in Sunday and Monday and the remaining are set to report Tuesday.
Star all-rounder Shakib al Hasan, who returned to the United States to spend time with his family following the Australia series, is also expected to join the team Tuesday.
The disappointing part for the enthusiastic Bangladesh cricket followers is the fact that this New Zealand team touring Bangladesh have no members from their T20 World Cup squad.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Latham will lead the inexperienced New Zealand team in the series that will be a challenge for the visitors against a Bangladesh side which thrashed Australia 4-1 taking home advantage.

New Zealand are touring Bangladesh for the first time in eight years.
Back in 2013, Bangladesh registered a whitewash against the visitors in a three-match ODI series.
However, in 10 meetings in T20Is Bangladesh are yet to taste their maiden victory against the Kiwis.
All the matches will take place in Mirpur behind closed doors on September 1, 3, 5, 8 and 10 respectively.
The matches are scheduled to start from 4pm.
