Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan will not be available for Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited in the Super League stage of the ongoing Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League Twenty20.
Shakib wrote to Mohammedan management regarding his unavailability.
According to reports, Shakib will immediately travel to the USA to spend some time with his family before joining Bangladesh national team in Dhaka later this month for the preparation of tour to Zimbabwe.

Mohammedan cricket committee secretary Salim Shahed confirmed the news to the media Thursday.
“Shakib has been part of bio-bubble for almost three months now [involving national team, Indian Premier League T20 and Dhaka League]. He will travel to the USA following our 11th game in the league. He needs the break to freshen up from his mental fatigue. We have considered his request but are yet to take an official decision,” said Shahed.
Shakib returned to play the 11th league game for Mohammedan Thursday after serving a three-match suspension imposed by Bangladesh Cricket Board and Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis after he was found guilty of level 3 breach of the BCB code of conduct twice during their game against Abahani Ltd last week.
With six wins and 13 points from 10 matches, Mohammedan had already confirmed one of the six spots in the Super League ahead of the game against Gazi Group Cricketers at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Thursday.
Shakib has failed to show his best performance in the tournament.
In seven matches, leaving out the game against Gazi Group Thursday, the 34-year old scored 110 runs and picked up eight wickets.
Including two ducks in the tally, 37 against Abahani has been Shakib’s highest score in the tournament.
