Debutant Kyle Mayers hit an epic unbeaten 210 to inspire the West Indies to a historic three-wicket win against hosts Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city Sunday.
Mayers created all sorts of records as the inexperienced Windies registered the highest successful chase ever in Asia.
This was also the Windies' second highest successful chase in history as the 28-year old Mayers posted the second-highest score on debut by a West Indian.

The late wickets of Joshua da Silva (20) and Kemar Roach (nought) failed to dampen the mood as Mayers hit the winning runs alongside Rahkeem Cornwall (0*).
The platform for the win was earlier set by Mayers and another debutant Nkrumah Bonner as they put on 216 for the fifth wicket before Bonner departed for a well made 86 off 245 balls.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz bagged eight wickets in the match, spread equally in two innings, while Taijul Islam and Nayeem Hasan shared three wickets between them in the second innings.
