Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan has been named captain as the Bangladesh Cricket Board declared a 14-member squad for the three-day warm-up game against visitors West Indies.
As many as five cricketers, including Nurul, from the Bangladesh preliminary Test squad for the two-match Test series have been given the opportunity to play the warm-up against the tourists.
Saif Hasan, Shadman Islam, Yasir Ali Chowdhury and Khaled Ahmed are the four other cricketers from the preliminary squad who will play the warm-up game.
The team otherwise feature mostly young players who were part of the U-19 World Cup winning side.

Including U-19 captain Akbar Ali, six cricketers from the U-19 team have been made part of the BCB XI.
The three-day game between BCB XI and the West Indians will be played in Chittagong’s MA Aziz Stadium from Friday.
The first of two Tests will begin in the port city’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on February 3.
