Bangladesh cricketer Mehedi Hasan Miraz has become a father for the first time as his wife Rabeya Akter Priti gave birth to a baby boy Saturday morning.
All-rounder Miraz informed with elation that both his wife and son are doing well.
The off-spinner shared his feelings upon becoming a father on social media: “Assalamualaikum. Alhamdulilah, I am very happy to announce that I have become a father to a boy at around 10am. Everyone, please pray for my son. All praise be to the Almighty Allah.”
Miraz and Priti tied the knot last year on March 21.
