Former Bangladesh captain and Narail 2 Member of Parliament Mashrafe bin Mortaza’s parents, father Golam Mortaza Swapan and mother Hamida Mortaza, have tested Covid-19 positive, alongside two other members of the family.
Mashrafe’s aunt Kamrun Nahar Kuhu and younger brother Morsalin bin Mortaza’s wife Sumaiya Tuha also tested positive.
The four members of the family are currently recovering at home in Narail and following health guidelines.
Mashrafe previously tested Covid-19 positive on June 20, and after recuperating he tested negative on July 14 in his third test.
Mashrafe’s wife Sumona Haque, Morsalin, mother-in-law Hosne Ara, Sumona’s elder sister and his niece had also tested positive but recovered after taking treatment at home.
