Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has announced to help the underprivileged people who are affected by coronavirus pandemic through ‘The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation’ with an ongoing project named "Mission Save Bangladesh".Shaklib announced it through his verified facebook page on Saturday. The announcement stated as:
“The nation is fighting a pandemic today. With the outbreak of coronavirus, many underprivileged people are counting down the days when their livelihoods will return back to normal.
The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation has taken steps to raise funds from individuals and organizations around the country and around the world to help the underprivileged people affected by Coronavirus.
This is going to be the first initiative in which The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation will provide support.
"Mission Save Bangladesh" is an initiative of The Daily Star, Sheba.xyz and The Samakal. The purpose of this project is to provide support to low-income and underprivileged people affected by Coronavirus. So far this project has helped over 2000 underprivileged families and efforts are underway to increase this number.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh has so far confirmed five deaths and 48 infections from Covid-19, a new strain of coronavirus.
The fast spreading coronavirus, which was first reported in China's Wuhan, has infected 664,672 people and claimed 30,892 lives till 1:10pm on Sunday, according to Worldometer.
Globally, a total of 142,368 infected people have also recovered from Covid-19, a pandemic announced by the World Health Organization (WHO)
