Apart from discussions on the Bangladesh national team’s tour of Pakistan, finding a new pace-bowling coach for the national team, renewal of central contracts of cricketers, pending decisions on hosting Zimbabwe in February and domestic tournaments are on the agenda for the BCB when the board meets for its first meeting of the year in the afternoon Sunday.
The BCB is also set to discuss the future of Mashrafe bin Mortaza as Bangladesh ODI captain.
It is almost certain that star all-rounder Shakib al Hasan, now serving a one year ban, will not be considered for the role, and there is confusion over whether Mashrafe should be offered a renewed contract
The board will also discuss separate contracts for red and white ball cricket.
It is understood that the BCB is considering giving cricketers playing the longer version of the game added incentives

As for the new pace bowling coach for the national team, former South African speedster Nantie Hayward and West Indies pacer Ottis Gibson are in strong consideration for the job.
Both Ottis and Nantie worked in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20, for Cumilla Warriors and Sylhet Thunder respectively.
The Bangladesh national pace bowling coach post became vacant after BCB released former South Africa cricketer Charl Langeveldt in December last year.
The BCB had acknowledged a request from Cricket South Africa to release Langeveldt, who took a job in the same role for South Africa.
Among other issues, the board are to discuss the Future Tours Program schedule for the year 2020, and the latest development regarding the new cricket stadium in Purbachal.
