Bangladesh wheelchair cricket team are going to take part in the 2nd Uttarakhand Cup Twenty20, an international tournament for the disabled cricketers, as the defending champion.
The tournament, taking place in Uttarakhand province of India, will kick off Thursday and end four days later.
Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan Thursday before facing Nepal and India on December 20 and 21 respectively.
The final will be held on December 23.
Last year, only Bangladesh and India contested in the tournament.

The announcement came at a press conference Thursday at Brac Center in Dhaka, organized by national wheelchair cricket team with support from Brac.
Bangladesh captain Mohammad Mohasin and Brac Human Resource and Learning Division director Maria Haq addressed the press conference.
Mohasin said, “I am satisfied with our preparation. If we can deliver as good as our preparation, we have ample chance to defend the championship. There are particular chances of doing good against India and Nepal.”
The wheelchair team will leave the capital on Victory Day.
Bangladesh Cricket Board is providing overall support to this team, while they will receive sponsorships from six organizations in the form of Orion Group, Brac, ABC Radio, Imago Sports Management Limited, Nafi Group and BD Crick Time.
