Bangladesh women’s cricket team endured a T20I series loss on tour as they lost to their Pakistani counterparts in the second T20I by 15 runs Monday, having already lost the first T20I by 14 runs on Saturday, played at the same venue – the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The second T20I saw the hosts registering 167/3 by the end of 20 overs powered by skipper Bismah Maroof’s quick-fire 70 not out and opener Javeria Khan’s half century, while Bangladesh seamer Jahanara managed to take two scalps during the Pakistan innings.
Bangladesh’s batting innings suffered the loss of early wickets that put a dent on their chase. One-down Sanjida Islam stabilized the innings with a 32-ball 45 while Nigar Sultana and Fargana Hoque registered 21 and 30, respectively.

Right at the very end of the Bangladesh innings, Jahanara Alam showed some hope with a five-ball 18, striking the ball at a staggering rate of 360.00 - but it was all too little too late for the touring side.
The Pakistan skipper Bismah Maroof was adjudged as player of the match for the second consecutive time in the series.
The third and final T20I game of the tour will be held on Wednesday, October 30, followed by a two-match one-day series on November 2 and 4, respectively, at the same venue.
