Bangladesh A team secured the three-match series 2-1 after winning the third unofficial ODI by 98 runs in accordance with the Duckworth/Lewis method against Sri Lanka A at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo Saturday.
Asked to bat first, Bangladesh openers Saif Hasan and Mohammad Naim got off to a brilliant start with a 120-run stand.
Naim got out in the 23rd over in an unusual manner as he was declared out due to obstructing the field.
He scored 66 off 76 deliveries with five fours and a couple of sixes.
But fellow opener Saif was brilliant at the other end and struck a superb hundred, making 117 off 110 balls before getting dismissed in the 42nd over.

The right-handed Saif hit a dozen fours and three sixes in his innings to guide the visiting side to a handsome total.
Captain Mohammad Mithun scored 32 in the middle of the innings as Bangladesh eventually posted 322 losing nine wickets in their stipulated 50 overs.
Sri Lanka’s Shiran Fernando took four wickets for the Lankans.
In reply, Sri Lanka lost opener Pathum Nissanka in just the second over as off-spinner Afif Hossain made the breakthrough.
Bangladesh took regular wickets and kept up the pressure on the Lankan batting order as the home side registered 130 for the loss of six wickets at the halfway stage.

After 24.4 overs of play in the second innings, bad light stopped play and Bangladesh were declared the winner by D/L method.
Saif took two wickets to go with his brilliant century while pacer Ebadat Hossain also bagged two.
Afif and seamer Abu Haider Rony took one wicket each.
The Lankans had earlier won the first game by seven wickets at the same venue Wednesday before the second string Bangladesh side came back to the series with a one-wicket victory in the second and penultimate match Thursday.
The two teams also played out draws in the two-game unofficial Test series.
