Right-arm pacer-allrounder Atharva Deshpande took four wickets to lead the Vidarbha bowlers.
The BCB XI bowler for a win had the tough task of dismissing the opponent’s innings in the remaining 14 overs of the game.
But as it happened, Vidarbha lost only one wicket, to medium-pacer Ariful Haque, and had put 38 on the board before the umpire removed the bails to conclude the game.
