Former Pakistan captain Afridi announced this via twitter on Friday. Afridi cited personal reasons for his decision.
"Won the trophy with one team, time for another. I am announcing my end of service as president and player of Peshawar Zalmi team due to personal reasons," he tweeted.

The all-rounder hinted switching to another franchise but stopped short of giving out any details.
In the 2017 edition, he scored 177 runs in 10 matches for Peshawar. With the ball though, he picked up only two wickets.
