Spinner Mosharraf Hossain Rubel has received a positive report in his tumour treatment as the biopsy report found no cancer germs.
The report suggests that it was a middle grade tumour and Rubel now needs chemotherapy and radiotherapy to get cured.
The left-arm spinner will be back in Bangladesh Saturday but after a month’s time, he has to go back to Singapore again for chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Rubel underwent a successful surgery this month.
Mosharraf was diagnosed with glioma, a type of tumour that starts in the glial cells of the brain or the spine, earlier this month.

The 37-year old, who is a regular figure in domestic cricket in Bangladesh, learned about the deadly disease through medical checkups in Dhaka after having fallen severely ill.
There were a few occasions when the cricketer had fainted.
The news had left the cricketing arena shocked as many took a prompt stance to take side of Mosharraf in order to fight the ordeal, either by providing mental or financial support.
Mosharraf has played five ODIs for Bangladesh.
