Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club, Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity and Brothers Union won their respective matches during their Dhaka Premier League fixtures on Wednesday.
At Mirpur, Prime Doleshwar chased down the 230-run target with six wickets in hand against Gazi Group Cricketers.
Doleshwar elected to field first after winning the toss. Gazi Group were 230 all out in 49.1 overs. Indian recruit Parvez Rasool was the top scorer with 67 runs while Shamsur Rahman Shuvo scored 45. Apart from these two middle order batsmen no other player could make much impact with the bat and that resulted Gazi Group’s innings folded for a moderate total.

Experienced Farhad Reza was the star performer with the ball for Doleshwar as the right-handed medium-pacer picked up five wickets conceding 40 runs in 9.1 overs. Shykat Ali took three while Arafat Sunny took two wickets.
Chasing 231, Prime Doleshwar reached their target in 45.5 overs with six wickets in hand. Opener Saif Hasan scored a superb century to guide his team to victory. He scored 102 off 124 balls with four fours and six sixes.
Pakistani batsman Saad Nasim was unbeaten on 35 while their captain Farhad was the other not out batsman scoring 21 off just 10 balls.
Doleshwar skipper Farhad was adjudged man-of-the-match for his all-round performance.
