This is the first time Robbie Frylinck is playing in the BPL and the South African all-rounder made it an occasion to remember with double strike in his very first over. In the second ball, he took the important wicket of explosive English opener Alex Hales by trapping him in front.
In the fourth delivery of the same over, Frylinck cleaned up Mohammad Mithun with an in-swinging delivery. Mehedi Maruf was his third victim, and the paceman also dismissed Sohag Gazi.
Frylinck’s miserly bowling figure read 4/14 in four overs. The right-arm seamer also scored 12 crucial runs during Chittagong Vikings’ chase, and hit the winning boundary when the match was getting closer. A bright start indeed for the Proteas all-rounder in the BPL.
