The BCB Tuesday announced a 23-member Bangladesh preliminary squad for the U-19 Asia Cup. The preparation camp for the tournament will begin in Chittagong Thursday and continue till September 14.
Bangladesh will the host the U-19 Asia Cup in Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar and the curtain of the tournament will be raised on September 29. Eight nations including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Hong Kong, Nepal, Afghanistan, the UAE and host Bangladesh will participate in the competition.
The UAE, Hong Kong and Nepal qualified for the tournament on the basis of their participation in last year's U-19 Asia Cup.
