Bangladesh women concede loss after batting collapse

Update : 04 May 2018, 11:06 PM
A severe batting debacle saw Bangladesh women start their tour of South Africa on a losing note as the visiting team suffered a 106-run loss against the home side at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom Friday. The Bangladesh women made a confident start to the tour with a dominating win in the lone warm-up game against North West side Wednesday. However, in the first of five ODIs, the Bangladesh batters failed to make an impact. Chasing 271, Bangladesh were all out for 164 in 49.3 overs as only three batters reached double figure. No 3 batter Fargana Haque had come into the game scoring an unbeaten century in the practice match and the right-hander was the only one who put on a fight against the South Africans with her undefeated 69.
