Veteran left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak was key behind South Zone’s triumph. The 35-year old finished the game with 11 wickets, registering his ninth 10-wicket haul in the format. The experienced South Zone campaigner in the first innings bagged five wickets for 53 runs while in the second, he took another six scalps conceding 48 runs. The game on day three resumed with North Zone batting on 32 without loss in eight overs in the second innings. The side had trailed by 146 runs in the innings and the opposition made use of the pressure situation.
