Batting first, India posted 150 losing nine wickets in their stipulated 20 overs, Sourav top-scoring with 93. Bangladesh's Mohidul Islam bagged five wickets. In reply, Bangladesh reached their destination with two overs remaining, Mithu scoring the highest 76 for his side. Sajjad and Ripon chipped in with 21 and 19 respectively. Sourav picked up two wickets for India while Hukum and Laxman took a wicket apiece. Bangladesh will take on Nepal in the second match of the tri-series Sunday.
