ULAB, EUB reach 11th ULAB Fair Play Cup semi-finals

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh defeated North South University by six wickets while European University of Bangladesh beat South East University by 76 runs to seal their places in the semi-finals of the 11th ULAB Fair Play Cup Inter Private University Cricket Tournament Saturday in Dhaka. In the first match of the day, NSU, batting first, scored 106 for the loss of nine wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. In reply, ULAB reached the target in just 11 overs. ULAB’s Arifur Rahman was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance.

In the other game, EUB, taking first guard, made 195 losing eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. SEU in reply scored 119/8 in 20 overs. Moin Khan scored 53 runs from 32 balls for EUB and was later named player of the match.
