India are one step away from the grand finale of the Nidahas T20I tri-nation series after beating host Sri Lanka by six wickets in the fourth T20I in Colombo’s R Premadasa Cricket Stadium Monday.
Asked to bat first, Sri Lanka posted 152 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their stipulated 20 overs, opener Kusal Mendis top-scoring with 55.
India seamer and player of the match Shardul Thakur bagged four wickets.
In reply, India reached their target with 15 balls remaining, middle-order batsmen Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik scoring unbeaten 42 and 39 to guide their side to victory.
