In the district level, the school tournament will hold 901 matches. The champion in the district level will participate in the divisional tournament. A total of 57 matches will be played in the divisional level. The divisional champion will then take part in seven matches across the national level, thus deciding the champion of this lengthy tournament.
A total of 70 venues across the country will host the matches.
A press conference was held in Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday where the details of the tournament were announced. Prime Bank Limited managing director Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, Bangladesh Cricket Board director and chairman of the game development committee Khaled Mahmud and media committee chairman Jalal Younus were present in the press conference among others.
