Bangladesh U19 cricket team beat India U-19 team by 8 wickets in the Under 19s Asia Cup at Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
Bangladesh reached the target of 188 run in 28 over (32 over match). Pinak Ghosh scored an unbeaten 81 runs for 77 balls and Towhid Hridoy scored 48 runs.Before beating defending champion India, Bangladesh won against Nepal and Malaysia U-19 in last two games. Bangladesh reached the semi final of the tournament becoming group champion.
Earlier, batting first India scored 187 runs in 32 over as the match was reduced to 32 over for rain.Salman Khan was unbeaten for 39 runs of 38 balls.
Robiul Hoque took 3 wickets while Afif Hossain and Nayeem Hasan took 2 wickets each for Bangladesh.
