Sabbir, Shakib power Tigers to 167

Bangladesh have set 168-run target for Zimbabwe in the second match of the four-match T20 series.

The Tigers managed to score 167 runs losing 3 wickets in the 20 overs.

Sabbir Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan were unbeaten on 43 and 27 runs respectively. Soumya Sarkar scored a brisk 43.

Mushfiqur Rahim retired hurt at the last delivery of 15th over and then Shakib Al Hasan joined Sabbir Rahman.

Cremer picked the wickets of Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah. Muzarabani sent Tamim back to the pavilion when the batsman scored 23 runs for his team.

The hosts won the toss and opted to bat first in the match. The match began at 3pm in Khulna on Sunday.

Earlier in the first match, Bangladesh defeated the visitors by four wickets on Friday.

Zimbabwe were thrashed 3-0 in the ODI series against Bangladesh in November but managed to salvage a draw in the subsequent two-match T20 series 1-1.

Zimbabwe won the second and final T20 match by three wickets, ending their 13-match losing streak to Bangladesh in all formats of the game since April 2013.
