Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 2016-17 season, finalDhaka Dynamites v Rajshahi KingsSabbir's miss, Farhad's stunnerThe Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium crowd witnessed contrasting pictures when Dhaka's Andre Russell was at the crease hitting some biggies during the slog overs. In the 15th over, off the bowling of Nazmul Islam, Sabbir Rahman missed an easy catch, despite his high standards, at mid-wicket to give Russell a lifeline. But the West Indies all-rounder failed to utilise the opportunity as Farhad Reza ran across to his left to take the catch off the bowling of Samit Patel in the very next over. Farhad though was out of balance and the momentum carried him over the ropes. However, he threw the ball back in, returned to the field and dived to grab the ball. Dhaka captain Shakib al Hasan celebrates one of his two wickets DHAKA TRIBUNEShakib wins battle of captainsDhaka captain Shakib al Hasan brought himself back to the bowling attack for his last over when Rajshahi required 84 runs off 42 balls with Patel and captain Darren Sammy, who is well-known for chasing successfully in this type of situation, at the crease. Patel sent the first ball crashing through the extra cover boundary before Sammy hit the fourth delivery over Shakib's head for an over-boundary. But the Bangladesh superstar hit back strongly to clean up Sammy in the very next ball when the two-time World Twenty20 winning captain missed the ball while attempting a late cut.
