A case has been filed against cricketer Nasir Hossain and his newly married wife Tamima Sultana by Tamima's first husband Md Rakib Hasan.
Rakib filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim on Wednesday.

After the news of their marriage broke, it was alleged that Tamima, who works as a cabin crew in a foreign airline, married Nasir without divorcing Rakib.
The news immediately went viral on social media and drew much criticism from various quarters.
Rakib then filed a general diary at Uttara West police station, which said that he was married to Tamima for 11 years, and they have an eight-year-old daughter from the marriage. Tamima, however, married Nasir without divorcing Rakib.
