Arefin Shuvo and Mahiya Mahi starrer Dhaka Attack is scheduled to hit local theaters on October 6. The film will also be released at theaters in the United Arab Emirates, Canada, USA and a few European countries two weeks later.
A source revealed that Mahiya Mahi will take part in a 20-day tour of these countries as a part of the film’s promotional activities. The actress said that she has managed to take a few days off from her schedule to join the other stars during the promotions in the United Arab Emirates, Canada and USA. The Agnee star is supposed to spend at least three days in each country, promoting Dhaka Attack.
Dipankar Dipon, director of Dhaka Attack, who will be submitting the film to the censor board shortly said, “This is a big budget film. Bangladesh has been portrayed positively in it. Through an international release, we want to provide the real picture of the country to the international audience.”
The director also informed that they will start promoting their film from the Middle East, then move onto Canada and USA before wrapping it up in Europe.
On the other hand, Arefin Shuvo, the lead star of Dhaka Attack, will not be able to take part in promotional activities properly beacause of his busy schedule. However, the star will be available partially in some countries.
Sunny Sanwar, additional deputy commissioner of Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, wrote the story with the title “Thrill point” few years ago.
The film also casts the likes of Syed Hasan Imam, Afzal Hossain, Laila Hasan, Shipon Mitra, Sanju John, Nawshaba and ABM Sumon while Alamgir made a guest appearance.
