After its successful release in Bangladesh, the critically acclaimed film "Bonolata Sen" is set for international screenings in Australia later this month.

Inspired by the life and literary legacy of poet Jibanananda Das and his famous poem Bonolata Sen, the film has been widely praised for its storytelling, cinematography, and performances.

Distributed by Poth Productions, the film will release on June 26 across five Australian cities—Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

Director Masud Hasan Ujjal said the screenings were arranged following strong demand from Bangla-speaking audiences in Australia and added that releases in other Western countries are also being planned.

Released in Bangladesh during Eid-ul-Azha, the government-grant-supported film continues to run in cinemas. The cast includes Khairul Basar, Nabila, Sohel Mondol, Naziba Basher, Priyontee Urbee, Ruponty Akid, Sharif Siraj, and Sumaiya Khushi.
