Chorki original series was released on January 30. Directed by Sukorno Shahed Dhiman, the story will take the audience through two different times- 1979 and 2002.
‘FEU’ has been inspired by true events. According to the director, "We wanted to tell a fictional story inspired by true events where local politics and culture will also emerge along with international politics."
To illustrate local politics and culture, the director wanted to illustrate the Khulna-Mongla region of the country. The name of this place is shown in the trailer. A young man is running in a boat, alone, in the light of the setting sun. The reason for his running can be understood through the dialogue. In the dialogue, he wants to know whether his father is alive or dead.
Tanvir Apurbo plays the role of Daniyel and Hossain Jiban plays the role of Sohel.
The director has given a big responsibility to these two young people. He believes that they have fulfilled it quite well. Both are students and were cast after auditioning.
The series was inspired by the Marichajhampi Massacre.
It stars Tariq Anam Khan as Kazi, Chanchal Chowdhury as Sunil, Mostafizur Noor Imran as Marshal, Tahmina Othoi as Sunita Devi, and Rizvi Riju as Palash.
