I still cannot believe it—I met Atif Aslam!
Songs like Aadat and Bheegi Yaadein became my constant companions, offering comfort during
tough times since a very young age. I saw Atif perform live for the first time in November of
2008.
I was just a teenager, and it felt surreal. When he took the stage, I was in tears. His powerful
performance yet soothing voice mesmerized the crowd. I wished to be closer, hoping for a
moment of connection.
Fast forward to 2024, I missed his April concert but found out he was returning in November at
Magical Nights 2.0. Determined to be front and center, I saved for tickets and planned to arrive
early. Maybe this time, I would get my ‘Ajab Si’ moment—or more.
The magic began when I saw a post from Gold Kinen: a chance to meet Atif up close! I had been
using the app for months, hoping to build a secure future through gold investments. The post
reignited my determination. I started investing more to qualify for the contest. It felt like a win-
win—saving for my future and possibly meeting my favorite singer.
Then, my phone rang. I had won. On November 28, 2024, I would meet Atif Aslam!
At the airport, when I saw him walking towards me, my heart raced. Despite being a global
superstar, Atif was warm, patient, and kind. In those brief moments, I poured out my heart,
sharing how his music helped me through life’s ups and downs. He listened attentively and even
indulged my stories about my daughters. His goodbye was heartfelt, leaving me with a wish to
meet again.
The next day’s concert was magical. After performances by Kaktaal, Abdul Hannan, and Tahsan,
Atif took the stage and held the audience spellbound for three hours. He blended energy,
comfort, and soulfulness, from Mundeya To Bachke Rahi to Kun Faya Kun. The highlight for me
was when he climbed a tower to sing Hum Kis Gali Jaa Rahe Hai it was unforgettable.
This was my second time experiencing his magic live—and it will not be the last. I am deeply
grateful to Gold Kinen which has been a core part of my savings journey over the past few
months, and now, it has also turned my childhood dream into reality. This memory will stay with
me forever.
