Filmmaking as a career of comes with hurdles that discourages young people to pursue it. From lack of funds to general lack of support, it has been getting harder for aspiring filmmakers to achieve or pursue their dreams.
Tareque Masud Memorial Trust, along with Independent Film Producers' Platform of Bangladesh (IFPPB), and Cine Craft have taken the initiative to encourage and support new filmmakers by arranging a screening process titled Technical Show.
Due to the overwhelmingly positive reception and submissions, the Technical Show will be held twice a month every two weeks.
The Tareque Masud Memorial Trust(TMMT) wrote on their facebook page, “We believe that this initiative can play a fruitful role in building confidence and receiving feedback that fresher producers get by displaying their work in a limited scale and sincere environment. Submit your film to be displayed at our next technical show”
Tareque Masud himself was a visionary, creating pieces such as "Matir Moyna", “Muktir Gaan”, “Adom Surat”, “Runway” etc spreading the voices of Bangladeshis across the globe.
