Everyone knows about Salman-Samira's marriage, but no one knows how they fell in love. Director Chatku Ahmed wants to make a romantic film by talking to Samira and understanding her side of the story. He wants to highlight the love story of the immortal hero Salman Shah and his wife Samira Huq.
Recently, Salman Shah's mother Neela Chowdhury, a London resident, expressed her displeasure surrounding the film and as a result the production had to be stopped for the time being.
Chatku Ahmed said regretfully, "This is not Salman's biopic; but a love story of two young people. Neela Chowdhury does not have much role in this story. I don't understand why she raised the question. The story is by Samira. So I went to meet Samira. Several of Salman's fans trolled me after seeing my picture with Samira. All in all, I don't want to think about the movie anymore."
The director questions, "I don't understand what will be the benefit to them (Salman's mother and fans) if this story is silenced. What benefit will it be to Salman, when people are already shouting about murder-suicide for 28 years? During this period, there was no institute in the name of Salman, no book (movie) was released about him. There is only one question in their minds- was it murder, or suicide?"
It needs to be said that before becoming an actor, Salman Shah married Samira. They met on July 12, 1990 at a fashion show in Chittagong. Then they fell in love and got married secretly on December 20, 1992. Chatku Ahmed wanted to make "Swapner Rajkumar" with this love story of theirs.
Salman Shah is the immortal hero of Dhakai cinema. In just 4 years of acting career, he starred in 27 movies. All of which were superhits. He sadly passed away on September 6, 1996. Salman's fans and family are still unsure whether his death was murder or suicide.
