Bangladesh Musical Band Associations (BAMBA) have announced that they will be holding a special concert at the heels of the student movement that led to the fall of the government on August 5.
The concert will be held in order to support the revolutionaries and their families who were injured during the student movement.
This was confirmed on Monday, August 19 on BAMBA’s official Facebook Page. The concert will be held on August 31 in Dhaka. The organizers haven’t yet confirmed the artists or venue yet. However, they assured that the details will be announced very soon.
According to their offical Facebook post, “In a time of great change, music has the power to unite us. BAMBA is proud to present this day-long event, featuring performances by top Bangladeshi bands and more!
But this concert is more than just music - it's a call to action. We're standing in solidarity with the injured revolutionaries of the student movement and the families of those who fought for freedom and justice.”
And ended with “Let's come together and create a new era of freedom and unity for Bangladesh!”
