Laughter guaranteed: Sitcoms you can't afford to miss

If you haven't watched these sitcoms, you need to watch them now before you are outcasted from the sitcom society

Update : 09 Jul 2024, 01:56 PM

Nowadays, when so many sitcoms are being made, the classics continue to occupy a place in our hearts with their authentic storytelling and perfect comic timing.

If you haven't watched these sitcoms, you need to watch them now before you are outcasted from the sitcom society.

Modern Family

Modern Family has to be my comfort show with its ensemble cast, feel-good scenes, and laugh-out-loud moments making it the best family sitcom.

After one viewing, it will make you a fan of Gloria or should I say, more of her accent. It also normalizes diverse family structures and relationships.

The Office

For the most of time, I kept delaying watching this thinking that it was yet another office drama but quarantine forced me to watch.

What I love about this show is its honest portrayal of mundane office experience blended with situational comedy and the characters are just chef’s kiss!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

With a humorous and entertaining approach, the show delves into serious matters being one of the most-watched shows of all time. The evolution of the character through meaningful storytelling and diverse story arcs. Caution: you will end up falling for Jake Peralta!

Young Sheldon

A spin-off prequel to the record-breaking show Big Bang Theory, the sitcom follows the journey of a young prodigy. With heartfelt family moments, coming-of-age experiences, and social issues, you will not even realize when you complete all the seasons.

Friends

While I may not exactly be a Friends fanatic, I have to give it to the show for building such a huge fanbase from different generations.

A story exploring the changing dynamics of friendships between 20-something years old, with relatable characters and clever jokes.
