In the scene Sheldon Cooper calls Aishwarya Rai “a poor man's Madhuri Dixit” and in response, Raj Koothrapalli replies: "Aishwarya Rai is a goddess, by comparison, Madhuri Dixit is a leprous prostitute".
Mithun Vijay Kumar claimed the character's comments were both “disrespectful and defamatory”.
He has requested Netflix to remove the episode as it promotes discrimination against women.
Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady created "The Big Bang Theory," which premiered in 2007 and concluded its 12-season run in 2019.
