Actress Zakia Bari Momo and filmmaker Shihab Shaheen secretly got married on November 20, 2015. Although they did not make the marriage public until Shihab in 2019 posted a picture of his fourth wedding anniversary confirming the marriage rumors.
But they could not settle for long after bringing the news of their marriage to the public. After only one year, Momo-Shihab walked down the path of separation in 2020. Two years have passed since they got separated.
Eventually, Momo and Shihab Shaheen brought the matter to light. Both of them confirmed that they are divorced. And for the past two years, they have been on different paths.
The fact that they were separated is known to many people in showbiz arena. But they themselves previously did not admit it directly. Momo on December 28 said that Shihab Shaheen divorced her in September 2020.
"Many people ask, what is our situation? how is the family going. But we are not married anymore,” said Momo accepting the fact of separation. “I could not say it out loud. But I don't like pretending. So it seems that everyone should know that we are divorced.”
Meanwhile, Shihab Shaheen does not want to say anything more than affirming the truth of the separation. Rather, he wants to be busy with his own work. His new web film 'Mayashalik' has recently been released, which casts Apurba and Sadia. The movie released in Binge is getting good response from the audience.
On the other hand, Momo was last seen in a movie name “Agamikal” performing against Emon. “Agamikal” directed by Anjan Aich was released on June 3.
