Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have made a surprising announcement on Monday morning, by posting a photo at a India hospital, confirming the couple is expecting their first child.
Alia wrote on her post: “Our baby ….. coming soon.”
The actress also shared a picture of a lion's family allegedly giving a nod to her and Ranbir Kapoor’s safaris in the scenic outdoors of Africa, reported The Times of India.
The news of Alia's pregnancy arrived two months after Alia and Ranbir got married in a close-knit ceremony on April 14 at their home in Mumbai.
The news might be a surprise for their fans but Ranbir alluded to it during his time promoting his movie “Shamshera”.
At being asked, about the quantity of work he will take on post-marriage, Ranbir said he would make time for his family and perchance he would do plenty of work.
Since the marriage, the couple went back to work on their respective film project schedules.
However, they are likely to go for a quiet holiday before beginning promotional works for their movie “Brahmastra”.
