Director Gias Uddin Selim's latest feature “Paap Punno” dropped its first song “Chokh Gelo Pakhi” on Tuesday, April 19. Penned by Bijoy Sarkar, the song was sung by Boga Taleb and arranged by Emon Chowdhury.
Last month, the film unveiled its full poster and release date. The poster featured the silhouette of a man leaning on the walls of a prison cell. “Paap Punno” is slated to be released on this Eid al-Fitr.
The star-studded cast includes Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Siam Ahmed, Farzana Chumki, Mamunur Rashid, Fazlur Rahman Babu, and Shahnaz Sumi in key roles.
Produced by Impress Telefilm, the film received an uncut clearance certificate for the Censor Board back in January, 2021 and has been awaiting release for months now.
Gias Uddin Selim’s last feature “Gunin” is currently available on streaming platform Chorki.
