Director Gias Uddin Selim's latest feature “Paap Punno” unveiled its first poster and release date. The film is slated to be released on this Eid al-Fitr.
The poster featured the silhouette of a man leaning on the walls of a prison cell.
The star-studded cast includes Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Siam Ahmed, Farzana Chumki, Mamunur Rashid, Fazlur Rahman Babu, and Shahnaz Sumi in key roles.
Produced by Impress Telefilm, the film received an uncut clearance certificate for the Censor Board back in January, 2021 and has been awaiting release for months now.
“This is a story of how people pay the price of their sins in their lifetime or how people sometimes pay the price of sins they didn’t commit. It is a love story in a rural setting with a mysterious twist in the end,” the director told The Business Post.
Gias Uddin Selim’s last feature “Gunin” is currently running in theatres across the country.
