Dhallywood actor Shakib Khan shared the news of his upcoming project with fans and followers on his 43rd birthday, on March 28. The star will lead the film, titled "Rajkumar," alongside US actor Courtney Coffeyy.
The film marks Coffeyy’s acting debut in Dhallywood. She was cast after a “rigorous” audition, according to press reports.
The leads appeared before the press during a ceremony at New York's World's Fair Marina Convention Hall.
The cast also includes Ahmed Sharif, Doctor Ezaz and Farukh Ahmed among others.
“Rajkumar” will be filmed in Florida and Los Angeles as well in some parts of Bangladesh. It is slated to receive a wide release in America, Canada, Middle East and Australia.
Filming will begin near the end of August.
Produced under the banner of Shakib Khan's production company SK Films, “Rajkumar” will be helmed by director Himel Ashraf.
