Celebrated actor, Suborna Mustafa is all set to return to the silver screen with Gohin Baluchor, an upcoming feature film directed by her husband, Badrul Anam Saud. The movie has been approved by the censor board this past Sunday, revealed Suborna Mustafa in a post on Facebook.
Confirming the news, the director, who also produced the film, revealed that Gohin Baluchor has earned an uncut censor board certificate and was praised by the members of the censor board.
Now, the director-producer is planning to get the film an immediate release.
The directorial debut of Badrul Anam Saud features some new and fresh faces from the industry, alongside veteran and senior actors. The leads will be portrayed by young actors Abu Hurayra Tanvir, Jannatun Nur Moon, and Nilanjona Neela, while it features seasoned actors such as Raisul Islam Asad, Suborna Mustafa, Afroza Banu, Fazlur Rhaman Babu, Shahadat Hossain and Bannya Mirza.
Badrul Anam Saud wrote the film’s story, dialogue and screenplay, which is set in a char (island) and chronicles a love story.
The National Filmmaking Grant winning film is made in support of Friends Movies International and Shaatkahon Productions.
Uttam Guha has worked as the art director of the film, while Wahida Mollick Jolly has been in charge of costumes. Emon Shaha has directed the film’s music while Naziba Basher is the choreography. Komol Chandra Das has worked behind the camera as the cinematographer.
