Prominent singers Shusmita Anis and Minar Rahman have teamed up on a romantic duet Abar Brishti Hobe, revolving around the pandemic crisis.
The song describes a young couple, experiencing emotional turmoil due to the pandemic, recalling the precious moments they had spent together.
The video showcases how their feelings and emotions for one another cope and adapt with the situation.
Shusmita said, “The story will end on a hopeful note as they realize, even if they are separated, their love for one another endures and that one day they will be together again.”
“I am grateful to Minar Bhai for writing such an appropriate, relevant song that I feel everybody can relate to some extent. This separation from our loved ones is very painful and I hope the song can give some comfort to those who are hurting,” she added.
The music video was directed by Nahiyan Ahmed of Flybot Studios. Popular actors Sunerah Binte Kamal and Khairul Bashar made appearances in it.
Abar Brishti Hobe was released on 25 August on Shusmita Anis’ YouTube Channel and other digital platforms worldwide.
