Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom welcome baby girl

American singer Katy Perry gave birth to a baby girl named Daisy Dove Bloom. Her partner British actor Orlando Bloom confirm the news on Instagram on Thursday.

Unicef shared a post congratulating the couple who are both goodwill ambassadors for the charity. The post contained a black and white photograph of Bloom, 43, and Perry, 35, holding the child's hand. The “Lord of the Rings” star shared this post to confirm Daisy’s arrival.

"Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom's new bundle of joy," the post read. "'We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,' Katy and Orlando told us."

The couple started dating in 2016 and split 10 months later before reuniting in early 2018 and eventually getting engaged this Valentine's Day.

Both Perry and Bloom have previously been married; Perry to British comedian Russell Brand (2010-2012) and Bloom to model Miranda Kerr (2010-2013). Bloom had a son in 2011 with Kerr.
