Duronto TV will broadcast special programmes on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Azha, including featuring five blockbuster films for the first time on television.
The films would be translated into Bangla to add a different dimension to the Bangladeshi audience. The new films, Despicable Me, The Croods, Barney's Great Adventure, and An American Girl: Grace Stirs up Success and The Tale of Despereaux, will be aired on the first five days of Eid 10 pm.
Moroever, Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Frankenstein will be featured on Duronto TV on Eid day, at 10 am. Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman will be featured on the 2nd day of Eid, at 10 am. ‘Antz’ will be broadcast on the 3rd day of Eid, at 10 am. Chicken Run will be featured on the 4th day of Eid, at 10 am. ‘The Little Engine that could’ will be featured on the 5th day of Eid, at 10am.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will be featured on Duronto TV on Eid day, at 3 pm. The Smurfs will be featured on TV on the 2nd day of Eid, at 3 pm. Casper: A Spirited Beginning will be featured on the 3rd day of Eid, at 3 pm. Baby Geniuses will be featured on the 4th day of Eid, at 3 pm. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 will be featured on the 5th day of Eid, at 3 pm.
In addition, five special episode of Banai Mojar Khabar, Ma-Baba ar Ami will be featured daily from the Eid Day to the 5th day of Eid, at 2 pm. Children's favourite Dustu Misty Eid Adda will be featured on the 5th day of Eid from Eid day, at 5.30 pm, Khatta Mitha will be featured on the 5th day of Eid from Eid day, at 12 pm and funny episode of 'Tree Fu Tom' will be broadcast on Eid day to 5th day of Eid, at 7 pm.
