Over the years, Shakib Khan has rose to become the King Khan of the local industry, with no major change of looks, playing the quintessential Dhallywood hero.
Getting out of the image of a stereotypical Dhallywood hero, Shakib created quite a buzz with his new look in the joint production movie Shikari last year. The actor did not fail to intrigue his aficionados once again with his new look in yet another joint venture film titled Nabab. Shakib will be seen in an astonishing look of a real life Nabab in the film.
In a trailer of the film released on May 25, a fit Shakib is seen donning a beard, fighting terrorism while also romancing his lover in the film, played by Shubhashree. The trailer has created quite the buzz among fans and has recorded more than a hundred thousand views already.
However, it seems that the National Film Award winning actor is trying to get out of the image of the typical Dhallywood hero and is doing very well in this regard. With a tattoo on his shoulder that reads “Rangbaaz,” the actor nailed a contemporary look in his previous film Rangbaaz, which was also an Indo-Bangla joint venture.
An action thriller by genre, Nabab is directed by Joydeep Mukherjee and jointly produced by Abdul Aziz and Himanshu Dhanuka under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay Movies. The film stars Shakib Khan in the lead role where he plays an intelligence agent from Bangladesh tasked with a secret operation in West Bengal. Subhasree Ganguly plays the female lead who falls in love with Khan.
